About Tracy

I am registered with the Health Professionals Council of South Africa (HPCSA) as a Clinical Psychologist, registration number: PS 0127680.

I have worked in both private practice in the United Kingdom as a psychotherapist, as well as within the government hospitals in Port Elizabeth and Uitenhage during my internship and community service years as a clinical psychologist. These experiences have provided me with the opportunity to work with diverse populations, as well as diverse issues.

I am currently working in private practice in Newton Park in Port Elizabeth.

Studies

I completed my undergraduate BA degree as well as BA Honours degree through UNISA.

From 2004 to 2010 I completed an MA in Core Process Psychotherapy at the Karuna Institute, Devon, UK (accredited through Middlesex University). During this time I did additional courses, including a workshop on working with trauma with Babette Rothschild.

Upon my return to South Africa, I completed an MA in Clinical Psychology through NMMU, Port Elizabeth (2015).

I have completed a two year certificate course in Mindfulness Based Interventions offered by Stellenbosch University.

I am a certified EMDR practitioner, which is one of the more recognised ways of dealing with trauma.
